The exhibition focuses on the Mirror Series which imply metaphysical ideas about “Void”. The title EXOSPHERE suggests the boundary between the Earth's atmosphere and the Universe. The interference color edges and the distortions were created by heat of over 2000 degrees applied from the back of the polished solid brass plates. As the viewer moves in front of the sculpture, the reflection of the object seems to be drawn into the vacuum of space and disappears.
SCARLET PORTAL is composed of a brass frame which holds two glass panels and the space between them is filled with red wine. The center of the Scarlet square became vacuum, and a transparent zone emerged. This “opening” acts like an entrance, leading the viewer to a border, and pointing to what might lie beyond.
